I would like to introduce you to a very SPECIAL group of people. Do the names Dr. Jonathan Crane, Edward Nigma, Selina Kyle, Harvey Dent, Dr. Pamela Isley, Oswald Cobblepot, or Dr. Victor Fries, ring a bell? 

I didn’t think they would. These are the names of some really outstanding people who achieved some very noteworthy accomplishments. 

These people, like us had dreams, aspirations, and desires, but SOMETHING HAPPENED. It reminds me of a line of scripture in the book of Job chapter one and verse thirteen. The scripture begins with the words, “and there came a day.” Shortly after, all HELL broke loose.

It’s CRAZY how one day you can be traveling in a car named Destiny, on your way to somewhere good, godly, and great, and your world be T-boned and side swiped by an evil hit and run driver. It spins your ENTIRE LIFE around in circles, and leaves you and your future TOTALED. 

 Now here you sit, devastated in a pile of shattered glass and tangled metal with no police or ambulance assistance to help you. It’s your job to free yourself, nurse your injuries, and walk home. How do respond? How do you recover? 

Dr. Jonathan Crane, Edward Nigma, Selina Kyle, Harvey Dent, Dr. Pamela Isley, Oswald Cobblepot, and Dr. Victor Fries, all responded, but RESPONDED in the WRONG WAY.  

Because of mistreatment, rejection, childhood abandonment, deformity, abuse, career failure, assault, and loss of a loved one, this group of people decided to turn to evil.  

How can power for good turn into evil? Look around you. The funny thing about comic book and movie characters are, we identify so well with them. WE either LIVE with them, around them, or we are them.

We know the Joker(a failed comedian struggling to care of his pregnant wife who died), the Penguin(abandoned by parents because of his deformity), Cat Woman(orphaned), the Riddler (rejected), Poison Ivy(abused and disrespected), and all of us know Two-face(who face was handsome on one side but disfigured on the other.) 

If you deny you’ve seen these people, I bet you know Backstabber, the Gold Digger, Stone Cold Heart, and the User. 

We see these people everyday. People who have been mistreated, abandoned, attacked, and abused by others. Instead of receiving GOD’s HEALING, they choose to REMAIN MAD, BITTER, and VINDICTIVE. Their pain pushed them to become something other than what was planned in the beginning. 

I know it HAPPENED and it HURT, but choose to join the SUPER FRIENDS and not the LEGION OF DOOM!!

2016 IS YOUR YEAR!! We need you on the WINNING SIDE!!
