Ever wondered what the life of a lump of clay is like? One day you are relaxing in a sedimentary way and then out of no where you are snatched up, isolated and placed on A wheel to spins you in circles. To make matters worse and without your consent, you being doused with water, smashed, pushed, pulled, squeezed and dug into. Not only do I not know where I am, I don’t know what is happening to me. I am screaming for help but no one is responding. Am I dreaming or is this a figment of my imagination? And if all of this isn’t enough, you are now taken and placed in a kiln to be baked and burned so that what you are you will always be.
It’s then that you realize that the Potter has done for you what you have not done or could not have ever done for yourself.
