IF YOU SEE IT, SAY IT!!

In one of my sermons about Overcoming Haters, I wrote, Don’t HATE, learn how to locate, appreciate, celebrate, and vocally communicate GREAT THINGS about other people. In short, IF YOU SEE IT, SAY IT!!

Why is it so hard for us to celebrate others? I promise it will not take anything away from you. The more I think about it, the more DISSAPOINTED I am. People are so unappreciated and we hold the power to make the difference.

I know what you are saying, “People should not do things for compliments.” You are absolutely right, but if they do it naturally and we like it, we should encourage.

The point of this blog- locate, appreciate, celebrate, vocally communicate, BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!! (DID YOU GET IT?)

You never know who is about to give up and quit. You don’t know who feels like nobody notices or cares. What difference does it make?

My story- One day, I was at a very low point in my ministry. I said to myself, ” I am starting to believe, what I think others may be saying about me.” I was feeling washed up, old, and dated. That same day, I ran into a young preacher who said, ” Man, I use to watch you on TV, every Tuesday. I would race home to make sure I saw your broadcast!!” He said, ” I think you are one of the greatest preachers in the world.” I went from “0 to 100.”

WORDS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!! You never really know where people are.

    Interesting How GOD works…
This week I had been dealing with the same question. Why can’t people celebrate people, you, me and … Others. Acknowledgement is often validation. Beneficiary is a term that has the derivative benefit. Please don’t misinterpret or reserve it for death only. By then, It’s too late… LOVE is a gift that should be active and alive. Thanks Richard … Perfect Timing-needed that!
